One of the toughest parts about selling websites from a cold call is that you are talking to someone who has never heard of your company, but more importantly, you have not provided them any value. The initial thought was how we could instantly provide the business we were calling with value. We believed that selling websites would be easiest way since, out of all of our services, websites took the least amount of time and cost us less. We could then provide value if our cold callers could create websites while they were on the phone with the business owner. The sales conversion rate explodes when you lead with, We built you a website, where can I send it?" as opposed to, "We can build you a website, can I get your information?".
